I find that many people are blind.  I don’t mean blind like they can’t physically see anything, I mean blind like they don’t ask questions or challenge their modes of thought.  Blind people can’t see the storm coming, but by the time they hear the storm it’s already too late.  The man who can see knows the storm is coming and he positions his boat so the storm won’t hit him.

People with their eyes open, understand things about the world that nobody else does.  They ask themselves scary questions that the blind man doesn’t look at.  People with their eyes open challenge themselves and ask why they act the way they do.  Their minds never shut off and they are constantly looking to new avenues for thought.  I don’t want to be blind.
