My mother always tells the story of how she would set up a baby crib in the cabin of her father’s boat while she helped her father lobster. The crib was for me. For as long as I can remember the ocean was a part of me. I grew up lobstering and fishing on the ocean. When I was only 10 years old I had 50 pots and a row boat where I would haul my pots by hand. When I was 14 I captained my own mini lobster boat with my brother. Now I’m 20 years old and my grandfather has recently decided to allow my brother and I to fish on his 42′ bruno alone. I’m ready for this new challenge because I was born to do it.
All my life I have wondered what I would do for a living. The days of earning a good living on the high seas are almost numbered so I need to figure out something else. I know what my passions are in life, but I need to integrate them into my own business. This blog is geared towards helping myself find a career that allows me to follow my passions. This blog is also dedicated to everyone who loves to lobster, fish or just eat the tastey ocean delicacy.
